About the event
Does your child become overwhelmed by certain sensory inputs, leading to distress and meltdowns?
Does your child avoid certain textures, sounds, or environments, impacting daily activities and social interactions? Does your child engage in excessive sensory-seeking behaviours that can disrupt their daily activities?
Through a blend of interactive activities, scientific experiments, and engaging discussions, children embark on an awe-inspiring exploration of sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, movement and internal sensations. We aim to not only deepen their understanding of the senses but also to empower them with strategies to navigate and thrive in their sensory-rich environments.
Led by experienced educators and sensory specialists, this group provides a safe and supportive space for children to express their sensory experiences, share their challenges, and celebrate their unique perspectives. By fostering this understanding, we equip them with tools and techniques to manage sensory input effectively, promoting self-regulation and enhancing their daily experiences. Our goal is to empower every child to embrace their sensory world confidently, fostering a deeper connection with their surroundings while developing invaluable strategies to support their sensory needs.
