Adult Psychology

At Wildflowers, we know you’re searching for more than just support—you want to feel seen, understood, and empowered. Maybe it’s for yourself, your child, or someone you care about. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, in survival mode, or just tired of systems that don’t seem to ‘get’ you. Whatever brings you here, you’ve found a space that truly sees all of you.

We’re redefining the way society approaches mental health and disability. We reject the idea of reducing people to a diagnosis—instead, we embrace each person’s individuality, honouring their unique journey and empowering them to bloom into their healthiest, most authentic selves.

At Wildflowers, we embrace the meltdowns, acknowledge the struggles, celebrate the quirks, and create a space where you don’t have to fight to be heard. Whether it’s understanding your mental health, embracing your neurodivergent mind, navigating life’s big and small challenges, or finding strategies that actually work for you—we’re here to help.

Our highly skilled team of Psychologists, Counsellors, and Allied Health Assistants provide compassionate, evidence-based support to adults, couples, and families in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. We understand that being human is complex, and our team is here to guide, support, and empower you every step of the way.

For added flexibility, we also offer Telehealth appointments via phone or video, so you can access therapy at a time and place that works best for you. Wherever you are, whatever you’re facing—you’re not alone.

Wildflowers is here to support you.

No matter what you're going through, our experienced clinicians are here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Anxiety

Experiencing a constant state of worry or unease? Anxiety can show up in many ways, impacting daily life and well-being. Our team provides support for generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and more.

Feeling weighed down by sadness or emptiness? Depression can make it hard to find joy in things that once brought happiness. We offer evidence-based support to help you navigate and manage these feelings.

Struggling with the weight of past trauma? Difficult experiences can leave lasting effects, from overwhelming emotions to withdrawal. We're here to help you process, heal, and regain a sense of control.

Developmental Trauma

Stress is a natural part of life, but when it lingers without the right coping tools, it can take a toll on both physical and mental well-being. We’re here to help you manage it effectively.

Stress

Relationships can be complex—sometimes we need guidance to strengthen them, and other times, support in walking away. Our psychologists provide tools to help you make decisions that feel right for you.

Relationships
Grief and Loss

Grief and loss can feel overwhelming, especially when they catch us off guard. While a natural part of life, extra support can help you move through intense emotions and find a path forward.

Understanding how your brain learns and interacts with the world is key to thriving. We offer strategies to enhance executive functioning, emotional regulation, and daily life skills.

Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder
Autism Spectrum Disorders

We take a neuro-affirming approach, helping you understand how your mind works while celebrating your individuality. We also provide support with social skills, emotional regulation, and sensory processing.

Living with a personality disorder can bring unique challenges in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Our team is here to support you in understanding yourself and navigating life with confidence.

Personality Disorders

Our goal is to equip you with the tools and insights needed to navigate life with as much independence and confidence as possible.

Intellectual Disabilities

If the sex you were assigned at birth doesn’t align with who you are, the internal conflict can feel overwhelming. Speaking with an open and inclusive psychologist can provide the support and validation you deserve.

Gender Identity

Parenting is one of life’s greatest challenges—there’s no manual! We’re here to empower you with the tools to understand your child’s needs, set boundaries, and create balance for the whole family.

Ready to book your first psychology appointment? Here’s what to expect in the initial process:

Step 1: Reach out to us

The first step is to give us a call or reach out via our website or email. Our friendly staff can answer any questions you have about our services. We will also ask you a series of questions to ensure our service is the best fit and that one of our clinicians can assist you on your journey. If this is not the case we will endeavour to provide you with a list of alternative providers.

We are happy to help you with any questions you may have around Medicare & NDIS funding.

Step 2: We have a spot for you

All our clinicians typically work off a fortnightly schedule, which means that in most cases you will see your therapist at the same time and day on a fortnightly basis.

If we have a spot for you, at a time that works for you, we will slot you in. If not, you can join our waiting list. We like to be transparent with all of our potential clients about the length of our waitlist at the time of reaching out in case you would like to look for services elsewhere.

We know life can get busy so we will send out regular reminders of all upcoming appointments.

Step 3: Your first appointment

You might be feeling a little nervous on your first visit to our space, which is completely normal and understandable. We acknowledge that seeking help is a huge step no matter our age.

If you are a child/adolescent (under 17 years)  seeking services, the first appointment is always with the parent or guardian (unless there are extenuating services which can be discussed when booking). We believe a collaborative approach is important so we may continue to invite a parent or guardian to future appointments throughout your child/adolescents therapeutic journey.

Step 4: Regular sessions and finishing up

The number of sessions is case-by-case, everyone has different needs within a therapy space and these are assessed within your initial appointment.

Sometimes we are only part of your journey for a short period of time, sometimes we are there for a few chapters. Either way, we make sure we continue a transparent relationship throughout your journey with us and make sure you have gotten everything you need from your time within our space.
