Adult Psychology

At Wildflowers, we know you’re searching for more than just support—you want to feel seen, understood, and empowered. Maybe it’s for yourself, your child, or someone you care about. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, in survival mode, or just tired of systems that don’t seem to ‘get’ you. Whatever brings you here, you’ve found a space that truly sees all of you.
We’re redefining the way society approaches mental health and disability. We reject the idea of reducing people to a diagnosis—instead, we embrace each person’s individuality, honouring their unique journey and empowering them to bloom into their healthiest, most authentic selves.
At Wildflowers, we embrace the meltdowns, acknowledge the struggles, celebrate the quirks, and create a space where you don’t have to fight to be heard. Whether it’s understanding your mental health, embracing your neurodivergent mind, navigating life’s big and small challenges, or finding strategies that actually work for you—we’re here to help.
Our highly skilled team of Psychologists, Counsellors, and Allied Health Assistants provide compassionate, evidence-based support to adults, couples, and families in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. We understand that being human is complex, and our team is here to guide, support, and empower you every step of the way.
For added flexibility, we also offer Telehealth appointments via phone or video, so you can access therapy at a time and place that works best for you. Wherever you are, whatever you’re facing—you’re not alone.

Ready to book your first psychology appointment? Here’s what to expect in the initial process:

Step 1: Reach out to us
Getting started is easy—just give us a call, send an email, or reach out via our website. Our friendly team is here to answer any questions and help you figure out if our services are the right fit for you. We currently offer in person and telehealth/online appointments. If we’re not the best match, we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction with alternative provider recommendations.
We’re also happy to guide you through Medicare and NDIS funding options to make things as smooth as possible.
Step 2: Finding the right spot for you
Our clinicians work on a fortnightly schedule, meaning you’ll typically have the same appointment time every two weeks. If we have availability that suits you, we’ll lock it in. If not, you’re welcome to join our waitlist, and we’ll be upfront about expected wait times so you can decide what’s best for you.
Life gets busy, so we’ll send regular reminders to keep your appointments on track. And if coming into the clinic isn’t ideal, we also offer telehealth sessions, so you can access support from the comfort of home.

Step 3: Your first appointment
Feeling a bit nervous? That’s completely normal. Taking this step is big, and we acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out for support.
For children and adolescents (under 17), the first session is always with a parent or guardian (unless otherwise discussed when booking). We believe in a collaborative approach, so parents/guardians may be invited to future sessions as part of the therapeutic journey.
Step 4: Ongoing sessions & your therapy journey
Everyone’s therapy journey looks different—some people work with us for a short time, while others need longer-term support. The number of sessions will be tailored to your needs and assessed in your initial appointment.
Whether we’re here for a few chapters or just one, we’ll keep things transparent and ensure you get the most out of your time with us. And if things change, our online therapy options mean support is always within reach, no matter where you are.
Ready to book? Get in touch today—we’d love to support you on your journey.
