Senior Psychologist (minimum 4 days per week)

About You:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a registered/clinical psychologist, with demonstrated expertise in assessment and/or intervention.

Board-approved supervisor status (or willingness to obtain)

Experience supervising provisional psychologists or early-career practitioners.

Strong knowledge of psychometric assessment tools, report writing, and NDIS documentation.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Commitment to neuro-affirming, inclusive, and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Service Delivery

Provide psychological assessment, formulation, diagnosis, and therapy for a range of presentations, including neurodevelopmental, emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.

Conduct psychometric assessments (e.g., WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, ADOS or MIGDAS Vineland-3, Conners-4, Brown EF/A) and prepare comprehensive reports aligned with NDIS, school, and medical requirements.

Manage a clinical caseload with autonomy and maintain high-quality documentation in line with practice policies and AHPRA requirements.
Supervision & Mentorship

Provide clinical supervision, case consultation, and mentoring to provisional psychologists, early-career clinicians, and allied health staff as appropriate.

Support staff development through structured feedback, modelling best practice, and facilitating reflective practice.

Contribute to group supervision sessions and peer review processes.
Clinical Governance & Quality Improvement

Participate in and contribute to the practice’s clinical governance framework, including policy development, risk management, and audit processes.

Ensure all clinical services align with ethical standards, legal requirements, and professional guidelines.

Support the development of clinical resources, assessment templates, and standardised procedures.
Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a point of escalation for complex cases, providing guidance to colleagues and support workers.

Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic care planning for clients.

Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team culture that reflects the values of the practice.
