Senior Psychologist

Senior Psychologist (minimum 4 days per week)

 

Are you a Senior Psychologist who is passionate about doing things differently and committed to providing a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach? We're looking for an exceptional Senior Psychologist to join the Wildflower team.

About You: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a registered/clinical psychologist, with demonstrated expertise in assessment and/or intervention.

  • Board-approved supervisor status (or willingness to obtain)

  • Experience supervising provisional psychologists or early-career practitioners.

  • Strong knowledge of psychometric assessment tools, report writing, and NDIS documentation.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Commitment to neuro-affirming, inclusive, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Service Delivery

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, diagnosis, and therapy for a range of presentations, including neurodevelopmental, emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.

  • Conduct psychometric assessments (e.g., WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, ADOS or MIGDAS Vineland-3, Conners-4, Brown EF/A) and prepare comprehensive reports aligned with NDIS, school, and medical requirements.

  • Manage a clinical caseload with autonomy and maintain high-quality documentation in line with practice policies and AHPRA requirements.

Supervision & Mentorship

  • Provide clinical supervision, case consultation, and mentoring to provisional psychologists, early-career clinicians, and allied health staff as appropriate.

  • Support staff development through structured feedback, modelling best practice, and facilitating reflective practice.

  • Contribute to group supervision sessions and peer review processes.

Clinical Governance & Quality Improvement

  • Participate in and contribute to the practice’s clinical governance framework, including policy development, risk management, and audit processes.

  • Ensure all clinical services align with ethical standards, legal requirements, and professional guidelines.

  • Support the development of clinical resources, assessment templates, and standardised procedures.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a point of escalation for complex cases, providing guidance to colleagues and support workers.

  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic care planning for clients.

  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive team culture that reflects the values of the practice.
