2024: A Year of transformation & growth:
This year has been nothing short of transformative, filled with milestones, growth, and meaningful connections. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the journey we’ve shared with our incredible team, clients, and community.
Let’s take a little look back on the year:
New additions to our team:
Our team is the heart of Wildflower, and in 2024, we embraced exciting new beginnings by welcoming 3 new team members:
Andie, our new highly experienced Registered Psychologist, is passionate about advocacy and empowerment. Her warm and understanding approach instantly puts clients at ease, and we are so excited to see the huge impact she creates within our space.
Jess – Our compassionate Psychotherapist and Counsellor, whose authentic, person-centred approach brings warmth and care to our space.
Elise – Our talented Occupational Therapist who joined us in June, has made a huge impression in our space by ensuring parents and clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
Celebrating Our 2024 Wins:
This year has been one of incredible achievements, underscoring our passion and dedication, with pride we were able to bring home:
National Champion at the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards – Winning the Health Improvement Services category at a national level was a proud moment, affirming our quality of care and the power of women's leadership.
Double Win at the Wollondilly Business Awards – Recognised locally with Outstanding Health Improvement Services and Wollondilly Business of the Year, reflecting our deep connection to our community.
Community Recognition in NSW Parliament – Acknowledged by our local MP, Judy Hannon, for our commitment to making a difference in our community.
These milestones are not just Wildflower’s victories—they belong to all of you. They reflect the often unseen work we do, work that creates real, lasting impact. These awards are a testament to the value our community and others place on our unique approach to care. By doing things a little differently and embracing the immense potential within every individual, we are driving meaningful change and reimagining what healthcare can be.
Welcoming new clients and growth:
This year, we were honoured to welcome 303 new clients into our space. Your courage and trust inspire us daily. Whether greeting new faces or concluding journeys, we feel immense gratitude for the privilege of walking alongside you.
One of our greatest achievements this year has been the remarkable growth of the #WildflowerWay community. Five years ago, we set out on a journey to transform the way healthcare is delivered—to challenge stereotypes surrounding mental health and disability and create a space where everyone feels supported and understood from the moment they connect with us. Over time, more and more people have been drawn to our practice, not just for what we do, but for the values we uphold and the way this space makes them feel seen, heard, and accepted.
This year, that vision was more alive than ever, with our incredible team facilitating 5,959 appointments. Through their unwavering dedication, they consistently remind our clients that they matter—that they are worthy of being celebrated for who they are. It’s this collective effort from both our team and the support from our community that makes #TheWildflowerWay so unique and impactful. We are immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished together in 2024 and look forward to another year of growth, connection, and positive change in 2025.
Leading the Way in Assessments:
2024 was a big year of Assessments, completing 186 assessments throughout the year. These Assessments offered clarity, relief, and empowerment to individuals and families alike. Our approach blends professional expertise with genuine care, ensuring that every person feels truly seen and supported throughout their journey. To those who entrusted us with their assessment—whether for themselves or their child—thank you.
Groups and Workshops:
In 2024, we’ve had the privilege of running 9 group programs and several fun, creative workshops. Each program is thoughtfully designed by our experienced team to provide hands-on learning that integrates one-on-one therapy skills. These groups offer so much more than just skill-building—they create opportunities for social connection, exploration, and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment.
Watching children grow within these groups has been truly rewarding. The safe space we cultivate allows kids to settle in at their own pace, learn from their peers, and build authentic connections—free from the pressures or hierarchies often found in school settings. It’s about fostering growth, confidence, and meaningful relationships in a way that feels natural and empowering.
Looking Ahead to 2025:
As we step into a new year, our focus remains steadfast on three core themes:
Clarity – Staying true to the values that define the #WildflowerWay.
Trust – Deepening our connections with clients, families, and the wider community.
Conviction – Continuing to challenge outdated perspectives on mental health and disability.
We’re excited to continue nurturing a space where every person feels seen, celebrated, and empowered as we expand our unique approach to care.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey:
To our clients, team, and community: thank you for believing in our mission and for inspiring us every day. Together, we’re creating a ripple effect of positive change that will continue to grow in the years ahead.
Here’s to 2025—a year of new opportunities, meaningful growth, and shared connection.
